Kim B. Mackay
President and CEO
Kim Mackay leads all company efforts with a focus on creating breakthrough technology, building outstanding customer relationships, and delivering solid business growth. Kim came to Planet 7 from Avaya Corp. (formerly Lucent Technologies), where she served as Executive General Manager, marketing and business development, for their CRM Solutions portfolio. Kim previously served as Senior VP and Executive Officer at Mosaix, Inc., positioning the company for acquisition by Lucent. She has 22 years experience in business which includes two UK FTSE 100 companies - British Telecom and Bass - and founding two UK technology companies (Aston Technology Limited and WICAT). Kim also holds a seat on the Planet 7 Technologies Board of Directors.
Mark P. Sherman
Vice President, Marketing
Mark Sherman joined Planet 7 Technologies in May 2000 following five years at Visio Corp. (now a division of Microsoft Corp.), where he was the director of product marketing for technical products. While at Visio, Mark oversaw the launch of three major product initiatives and was a key contributor in growing Visioís technical business unit from zero to $40 million in sales. Prior to Visio, Mark spent six years at Aldus Corp. (now a part of Adobe Systems Inc.) where he held various product management roles. Before Aldus, Mark spent three years as a research consultant with Market Trends of Bellevue, Wash. where he designed and oversaw market research projects for the companyís high technology client base. Mark has an M.B.A. from the University of Washington and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont.
E. Jason Anderson
As director of engineering, Jason is responsible for managing all product creation and delivery. Before joining Planet 7 Technologies, Jason worked for Microsoft Corp., where he held several positions in development and quality assurance for such teams as Internet Explorer, MS Java Virtual Machine, and COM+ Runtime. Jasonís achievements include filing for patents in advanced user-interface design and distributed load balancing. His last position at Microsoft was as architect for the XML Services group, focusing on next-generation XML infrastructure services. Before Microsoft, Jason worked as a professional developer and owned a technology company in Germany.
Brandon M. Williams
Director, Business Development
Brandon Williams came to Planet 7 Technologies in November 1999 after working at Citibank in New York, executing highly complex structured financings in their Capital Structuring Group. Prior to Citibank, Brandon earned his M.B.A. in Finance and Operations from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Brandon returns to Seattle having previously served in the area as a nuclear engineer and submarine officer for the United States Navy.
J. Bleu Andrews
Bleu Andrews came to Planet 7 Technologies from Appliant.com, a supplier of Web performance management tools, where he launched their sales and business development efforts leading to their first paying customer. Prior to Appliant.com, Bleu spent five years in sales, business development, and sales management roles at Visio Corp., rising eventually to OEM sales manager. He has also held sales positions with Autodesk, Inc. and Playtex Family Products, a division of Sara Lee. Bleu has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.
Lisa C. Hurt, CPA
Director, Finance and Administration
Lisa Hurt joined Planet 7 Technologies in October 1999, bringing more than 17 years experience in public accounting, finance and operations. Lisa brings extensive software industry expertise in areas including accounting, audit, and tax, and reporting issues specific to publicly traded firms. She has also been a consultant and advisor to business entrepreneurs and owners, and served as the Chief Financial Officer for a manufacturing enterprise for four years prior to joining Planet 7. Lisa is an active member of the American Institute and Washington State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and earned her B.A. in Business from the University of Washington.
